Meltdowns occur in ALL people of ALL ages. A stress of any sort enters the organism (you and I) or system which does not have the energy available to address the stress. Recently, I have been studying more about the biochemical processes of the body.
If every person on this planet embraced the wisdom "You are enough", we would thrive as a human race and most definitely live in peace. We would eliminate the "master/slave" mentality on planet Earth.
As humans, we have all experienced at one time or another the feeling of not being good enough.
Recently I received several emails from people overwhelmed with a fear of being out of control in their own lives. They believed that other people and events had harmed them. I also noticed this theme permeating throughout the world in general this year.
Interesting isn't it how external events show up in our lives and provoke deep inner rumblings while new clarity arises out of our old resistances? The contemplation of perspective showed up recently in my world. As I wrote in my July newsletter opening for those that missed it:
We do this over and over: crave change. Think about how many times in even one single month we desire the feeling of: new, exciting, different, out of the ordinary, hoping to break up the monotony. AND then in response and resonant with our desires, change actually shows up and begins shifting our lives and routines; how do we often respond?
